    • session_id, a unique session identifier, allows Shopify to store information about your session (referrer, landing page, etc.).
    • shopify_visit, no data retained, persists for 30 minutes from the last visit. Used by our website provider’s internal statistics tracking system to record the number of visits.
    • shopify_uniq, no data retained, expires at midnight (according to the visitor’s location) the next day. Tracks the number of visits to a store by a unique customer.
    • cart, a unique identifier, persists for 2 weeks, stores information about your shopping cart.
    • secure_session_id, a unique session identifier.
    • storefront_digest, a unique identifier, indefinite if the store has a password, used to determine if the current visitor has access.

  • Log Files track the activity on the Site and collect data such as your IP address, browser type, Internet Service Provider, referring and exit pages, and timestamps (date and time).

  • Invisible Pixels, Tags, and Pixels are electronic files that record information about how you browse the Site.
